Hailing from Middle England, UNTO the AGES channel the glory of early ’90s metal, reforged for
a modern audience, blending post-grunge atmosphere with the bite of metalcore, thrash, and
hardcore.
Formed in 2022, the band have built a reputation locally for raw authenticity, tight performances,
and a relentless “always improving” mindset, earning a fast-growing following across the
Midlands and beyond.
The band are signed to Angel Of Rage Entertainment, and their 2022 self-titled debut EP can be
found across all major platforms. They’ve also become familiar faces on the regional circuit,
including appearances at Worcester Music Festival.
Their breakthrough single “Never Fade” produced by and featuring Ben Rhys Thomas of Sylosis
is a tribute to vocalist Xen Angeli’s late brother, Anj Avraam, with 50% of streaming revenue
donated to Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The track has received BBC Radio airplay and was unveiled
live at Angel Of Rage in Worcester, where the band played main support to metal legend Blaze
Bayley. And the official music video is yet another demonstration of the band’s DIY ethos,
created in-house, by bassist Mark Brown.
And they’re continuing that momentum with a double single release on 24 th January, unveiling
their official cover of Alice In Chains’ “Rain When I Die”, alongside a brand-new B-side,
“Flowstate.” While the former pays homage to one of the band’s most formative influences,
“Flowstate” represents the other end of the spectrum—one of UNTO the AGES’ heaviest and
most uncompromising recordings to date.
Both tracks will be supported by full music videos, reinforcing the band’s commitment to pairing
sonic impact with strong visual identity as they push into their next chapter.
